**Summary of Responsibilities**
We are looking for an Associate Director to join and lead strategic partnership and
up-scale commercial research and development, focusing on nurturing growth,
clientele brand communication, and marketing priorities, in turn ensuring and
achieving Blackbox growth ambition and sustainability.

with decision science solutions, providing consumer, business, and community
perspectives on contemporary problems and challenges.
We work with Government agencies, multinationals, and NGOs and regularly
conduct our own self-funded polling that we share publicly as a way of
contributing to current community debate and dialogue.
We also monitor emerging trends both regionally and globally with the main aim
of signalling potential changes of significance before they happen or flagging the
implications of today’s decisions for the future.

Blending decision science, brand, and strategy to build a valuable connection
between our clients and their target audiences, the Associate Director will support
clients in achieving their desired outcomes aligned with clients’ strategic goals
and Blackbox’s financial KPIs (revenue and margin commitment) and will be
expected to:

- Develop and assist to design a strong multi-disciplinary team, to grow commercial research and development
- Develop and maintain open-channel communication with all levels of clients to create and foster trusted working relationships to provide an impactful solution to clients’ business issues
- Prepare and/or review and finalized draft designs (i.e. questionnaires, analytic plans, reports, presentations) prepared by team members
- Translate data to insights, create compelling stories, and powerful synthesis of findings to drive high-impact business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations
- Drive issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations and consultative storytelling to the clients
- Inspire team and build positive team experience with active engagement in driving team spirit
- Enable efficient resource management to ensure timely delivery and meet quality expectations
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in market research and constantly suggest refinements to current processes and approaches

**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**
- Acquired a degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Math, or a related analytical field
- 8+ years of working experience in research consulting or marketing services
- Excellent customer service and management mindset
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with strong business acumen
- Have a track record of business development with clients and proven ability to drive business within a team
- Possess good knowledge (across sectors) and established client relationships and networking skills
- Demonstrated cross-portfolio collaboration with strong written and verbal communication, planning, and project management skills with individuals at both peer and management levels
- Creative, solution-oriented with the drive to see plans through to implementation as well as can deliver content and key messages at scale
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment
