**About the Role**

Grace AG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Finance Manager to assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations, lead the finance team and support the church’s strategic goals. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of the financial and governance requirements of a charitable organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervision of Accounting Operations
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Audit, Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Together with the Finance Manager, responsible for Team Leadership & Development
- Cash Flow Management and Investment
- Systems and Process Improvements

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Degree in Accountancy, CPA/ ACCA or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements (e.g. Charity Code of Governance).
- Proficiency in ERP system and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and thrive under tight timelines.
