**Introduction**:
The **Treasury Team**seeks to enhance value and strengthen the organisation’s resilience by developing strategy, policy, structuring & raising debt, and managing FX & interest rate exposures and liquidity optimally.

The team strives for excellence in market execution and through continuous process improvement. As a balance sheet owner, the team discharges their governance and control responsibilities with prudence and pragmatism. Through collaboration, partnership and objective advice, the team builds strong long-term relationships with Treasury’s network of stakeholders including the various investment teams, financial counterparties, bank lenders, bond investors, and the broader Temasek ecosystem of portfolio companies and platforms.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Treasury advisory on FX, Interest Rate**s
- Drive analytics and contribute to decision making on management of FX exposures at the asset level as well as aggregate investment portfolio for Temasek
- Co-lead the engagement with Temasek’s investment teams, and contribute to the ideation and advisory of suitable Treasury products such as FX and Interest Rates instruments

**2. FX portfolio review**
- Engage the various investment teams through the life of their assets, and help distil insights and recommendations arising from the close and regular monitoring of FX exposures and P/L
- Co-own the design and implementation of solutions (e.g. dashboards) for asset owners to get direct updates on relevant FX metrics

**3.**Framework & Business Development**
- Contribute to the formulation and updating of the framework on managing FX exposures for Temasek, as well as other relevant business needs

**4.**Product Knowledge & Execution**
- Be part of the execution team of Treasury products across FX, Interest Rates and Cash markets backed by product knowledge and trading acumen
- Work with asset owners, middle office, back office to ensure that funding and hedging needs of the business are met in line with objectives

**5.**Systems & Processes**
- Manage relevant Treasury systems and processes for FX, Interest Rates and Cash with an ownership mindset, and work to evolve them in the spirit of continuous improvement and efficiency

**Requirements**:

- Relevant degree
- 4 or more years of experience in financial markets desks of established financial institutions / treasuries of buy-side investment entities, large MNCs
- Excellent track record of analytics and expressing numbers via clear and concise presentation
- A keen eye for detail and aptitude for working with systems and processes for FX and cash management, trade orders and trading
- Critical thinking and commercially minded with keen analytical skills; established ability to ideate and develop commercial, balanced solutions
- Strong team player, clear and effective communicator (written and oral), adept at working across teams and independently engaging stakeholders across seniorities
- Excellent project management skills and time management
