Temasek Treasury has primary responsibilities in the following areas:

- Management of Temasek’s long-term and short-term liabilities and overall governance framework;
- Management of FX exposures arising from balance sheet (assets, cash, liabilities);
- Management and placement of Temasek’s Cash Pool in line with institutional needs;
- Execution of FX and interest rates products across Temasek’s needs
- Development and cultivation of counterparty banks to ensure optimal pricing and execution capabilities for Temasek;
- Advisory on Treasury’s areas of focus to Temasek’s eco-system of portfolio companies and platforms

In line with these responsibilities, the Treasury team comprises professionals experienced in public debt issuances, FX & Rates markets, structuring, advisory, execution, and engagement of internal and external stakeholders to support institutional goals and advance Temasek’s eco-system of portfolio companies and platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- FX, Rates, Cash Markets
- Demonstrate understanding and continual awareness in FX, Interest Rates, and Cash markets, with key domain expertise in FX markets and products
- Translate such expertise to assist in relevant institutional work-streams, including contributing to Treasury’s regular review of Temasek’s FX & Rates outlook and forecasts
- Advisory & Implementation
- Keep abreast of changes in relevant markets, products, and regulations
- Contribute to the overall advisory outreach by Treasury team to internal and external stakeholders, including Temasek, portfolio companies, and its investment platforms
- Contribute to cross-functional Temasek teams to analyse and implement changes to ensure Temasek stays ahead of the curve in key markets, products, and regulations
- Execution
- Demonstrate trading acumen and working knowledge of FX product range (knowledge of Interest Rates and Cash products would be an advantage)
- Originate / assist in implementing plans to execute FX, Interest Rates, and Cash trades with counterparty banks to optimize market liquidity
- Display finesse in harnessing market feedback through day-to-day market interaction and translating it to relevant market intelligence that benefit Temasek as an institution
- Framework & Business Development
- Display ability to work across functions and management to craft solutions, policies and frameworks in guiding and advancing the wider institution in Treasury’s areas of focus
- Demonstrate strong track record in managing projects, including building business franchises and technology transformation

**Qualifications / Capabilities / Experience**
- Good Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or Banking from a recognized university
- Strong track record, with up to 5 years of experience in FX & Interest Rates markets (e.g. investment firm, bank or corporate treasury). Fresh graduates will be considered.
- Proactive, meticulous and detailed oriented, with ability to stay organized, multi-task and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
