Singapore PM CONTROL SYSTEMS PTE LTD Full time

You will be responsible to provide direct technical support and solutions to internal and external customers for electronic controls on diesel engines, gas engines, steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, generators, and power management systems. This includes providing on-site installation and implementation at customer sites of system hardware and software, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair service, and proactively responding to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers’ business.

The Service Engineer reports to the Service Manager. This position requires a high level of flexibility, a low level of supervision with a high level of independent work.

Responsibilities will cover the following job scopes:
1. Performs field service work in accordance with service agreements to conduct maintenance, modifications, start-up, and validation of Engine and Turbine Control Systems.

2. Independently troubleshoots/analyses complex Control Systems products in the field.

3. Support project teams with various in-house duties such as wiring and testing as required.

4. Supports in-house service repair fault finding as required.

5. Promotes and implements service process improvements.

6. Performs work that involves a variety of complex features, such as conflicting service requirements and difficult coordination requirements.

7. Provides direct support to sales by sharing information of by sharing in the form of retrofitting opportunities.

8. Prepares service reports which may contain design modification recommendations that may be forwarded to customers.

9. Performs helpdesk to answer customer inquiries.

10. Proactively improve capabilities and stays current with new products and systems

11. Responsible to enter data to AMT after each field service.

12. To be duly qualified for all Safety Courses required to conduct site work.
