**Field Service Engineer**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- On-site Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers at their locations.
- Installation, Commissioning & Training: Handle the installation, testing and training of new products and systems at client sites.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance schedules for equipment to ensure their longevity and reliable operation.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to urgent service requests and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime and disruptions for clients.
- Product Upgrades and Updates: Keep track of product advancements and software updates. Installand upgrade systems with the latest firmware and software to enhance performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive service records, including equipment logs, repair reports and customer interaction details. Submit regular reports to the service manager.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all service activities comply with Company standards, safety guidelines and industry regulations.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns professionally and effectively managing customer expectations.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Qualifications: At least a diploma in engineering field, preferred electrical engineering or similar.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a similar role, preferably in the scientific or oil & gas industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex technical issues with equipment and systems.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, propose effective solutions, and implement repairs efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients and colleagues.
