The Strategy & Planning team assists the Spenmo Management team with developing winning strategies that will have a significant impact on the company's growth. We lay out the company’s long-term objectives, translate strategies into actionable plans and functional deliverables to achieve those goals, proactively identify and drive high impact strategic and operational projects, lead the business planning and align resource allocation with priorities, scan competitive landscape and business environment for trends and insights to stay ahead of the competition and identify key growth opportunities, and plan and facilitate key management forums (board meetings, run the monthly business reviews etc.).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the C-suite to align overall strategy across the organization
- Translate company-level strategies into actionable functional deliverables and re-allocating business portfolio to align with market opportunities
- Identify and often implement, potential solutions for a specific challenge (topics include strategy, go-to-market, market entry, product, operational improvements, pricing, planning, digitization etc.)
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects such as:

- Define the problem statement, scope, and approach
- Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them by focusing on the most important challenges
- Lead and contribute to the analysis covering a breadth of data sources
- Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and manage senior stakeholder to drive decision-making and alignment leading to action on recommendations
- Guide and develop junior team members and ensure they have the support they need to learn and grow
- Be responsible for on time and high-quality delivery, balancing competing demands
- Support strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., Monthly Reviews, Forecasts, Annual Budget, and Long Range Plan) assisting with decision making regarding resource allocation and prioritisation, KPI setting, and on-going measurement process
- Lead competitor intelligence, and drive agenda and planning for management offsites, Board meetings etc.

**Requirements**:

- You have prior experience as a management consultant with a tier-1 strategy consulting firm, or in the corporate strategy team of a top tech company, or a Fintech start-up
- You have a solid track record of achievement and interested in making an impact in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment from day one
- You can break down complex problems into smaller ones and solve them through quantitative thinking and analysis
- You communicate succinctly and effectively with all audiences, both verbally and in writing, in English and can develop well-structured storylines to land key messages in an impactful manner
- You are a curious go-getter with growth mindset, love new challenges and pushing the boundaries, and can drive outcomes in both structured and ambiguous situations
- You are likeable, work collaboratively in a team, and can convince people to help you execute
- You have advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, excellent financial and data skills, and strong commercial acumen
