The purpose of this role is to drive the strategic priorities and value driven procurement activities in all aspects of procurement across our global business. The position will be based in Singapore and will report to the CEO Solutions Group. This role requires an experienced procurement professional who has led teams to develop outsource partners and suppliers to meet the business objectives.

In this position, you will be responsible for Embeds global sourcing efforts, and you will work closely with our regional teams in North America, APAC and EMEA to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. You will be responsible for the management of key suppliers around the world (with a focus on China, US, Taiwan, India and a strategy to diversify).

You have a vast experience in sourcing within technology companies. You are entrepreneurial, convincing and seek cooperation with others to achieve optimal results. You are hands-on and pro-active. You will be based in Singapore and frequent traveling will also be part of your job.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead relevant procurement activities, from initiation to implementation and ongoing contract management to achieve successful commercial outcomes
- Collaborating with the Global Leadership Team in developing and implementing strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including finance, technology teams, and Sales to set ambitious goals that help move the organization forward so there is a greater emphasis on strategic procurement, as opposed to tactical procurement
- Have a keen insight and understanding of program requirements on a 1-3-5 year horizon.
- Develop annual cost-out savings programs and implement business strategies that directly affect the company financial results and growth plans
- Monitors and ensures the efficient operation of the company and the team in the procurement of material, equipment and services
- Develop, implement and maintain procurement policy and procedures, which will include delivering procurement training to the organisation
- Design and implement a procurement reporting framework for management review of procurement activities, spend and benefits realisation
- Establishing mechanisms to evaluate your team’s performance, and mentoring them for overall performance and effectiveness in specific situations.
- Intervene to address supply chain failures as necessary
- Advocating the value of procurement by aligning with internal customers and ensuring that their requirements are met
- Manage P2P workflow process related to PR/PO cycle-time
- Serve as ERP system focal point for functionality as relates to purchasing function
- Scope of this role includes establishing global processes related to the procure to pay function.
- Management and refinement of standardised naming conventions and inventory management process on the company’s ERP platform
- Creating demand forecasts based on sales data and industry trends in order to predict future demand for products or services
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that there is enough supply to meet demand

**Supplier Management and Market Knowledge**
- Personally and proactively manage all aspects of implementation including entry and exit of suppliers and ensuring effective change management
