**In this role you will be accountable for**:

- Drive the implementation of the Corporate/Divisional Strategy in the APAC region. Adapt/prioritize the strategy to ensure regional relevance, Deploy and monitor initiatives (milestones, KPIs, goals, teams etc.) to support the strategy
- M&A: Lead M&A function for APAC region: define M&A thrusts, develop pipeline, execute on pipeline in collaboration with Global M&A team (engagement with targets, business plan development, M&A transaction, integration of team members)
- Lead Mission Critical Projects to support APAC Growth plans: projects include (but not limited to): Footprint expansion, Market Assessment, partnerships, digitalization projects, operational excellence programs, etc.
- Participate and support the management team in the annual strategic planning and budgeting process for APAC region
- Lead and drive the cross functional strategic project teams to ensure that high performance levels are attained
- In addition to the three-year strategic plan, support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process for APAC region
- Benchmark and report on competitor’s business models and major moves
- Summarize industry M&A transactions by region and industry
- Conduct regular peer firm analysis (League table)
- Provide Project management framework to drive individual business projects.
- To adhere strictly to the company and national ESH regulations and operational procedures
- To contribute development of environmentally friendly products and solutions
- To participate and contribute to consultation process in health and safety related activities, where applicable
- To report all ESH potential and actual incidents to line manager or site ESH manager
- To help prevent and report any environmental and health and safety violations in the workplace

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Technical/ Engineering university degree
- Master’s in business administration(desirable)
