As a Regulatory Business Analyst (BA) in Singapore, your role would involve working at the intersection of business and technology, with a focus on regulatory compliance within the financial services industry. Your responsibilities may include:

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with the latest regulations and standards set forth by regulatory authorities such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other relevant regulatory bodies. This involves staying up-to-date with regulatory changes, interpreting regulatory requirements, and ensuring that business processes and systems are compliant.
- Business Process Analysis: Collaborating with business stakeholders to analyze existing business processes, identify gaps in compliance, and recommend improvements to align with regulatory requirements. This may involve conducting impact assessments of regulatory changes on existing processes and systems.
- Requirement Gathering: Eliciting and documenting business requirements related to regulatory compliance, translating regulatory requirements into functional specifications, and working closely with technology teams to ensure that regulatory changes are appropriately implemented within systems and processes.
- Regulatory Reporting: Supporting the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports, and working with technology teams to develop and test regulatory reporting solutions.
- Risk Management: Collaborating with risk and compliance teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risks, participating in risk assessments, and contributing to the development of risk management strategies.
- Project Management: Participating in regulatory change projects, managing the BA activities within these projects, and ensuring that regulatory requirements are effectively incorporated into project deliverables.

In addition to the above responsibilities, your role may also involve contributing to the development of regulatory strategies, participating in regulatory audits, and providing training and guidance to business teams on regulatory matters.

It's important to have a strong understanding of financial regulations, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic regulatory environment. Additionally, proficiency in regulatory reporting tools, knowledge of financial products and services, and experience with regulatory technologies would be beneficial in this role.
