As a Regulatory Business Analyst (BA) in JSC, your role would involve working at the intersection of business and technology, with a focus on regulatory compliance within the trade space and how our internal JSC trade platform would integrate with different financial institutions, international buyers and international sellers. Your responsibilities would include:

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with the latest regulations and standards set forth by regulatory authorities such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other relevant regulatory bodies. This involves staying up-to-date with regulatory changes, interpreting regulatory requirements, and ensuring that business trade processes and systems are compliant
- Business Process Analysis: Collaborating with various stakeholders to analyse existing business processes, identify gaps in trade compliance, and recommend improvements to align with regulatory requirements set forth by regulators in Singapore and our primary trading markets - India, USA, Australia, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. This may involve conducting impact assessments of regulatory changes on existing processes and systems.
- Platform Comparison: Comparing different trade platforms available in the market based on factors such as user interface, reliability, speed, customization options, availability of asset classes (stocks, bonds, options, futures, forex, cryptocurrencies), fees, and customer support and adopt best in class features
- Requirement Gathering: Eliciting and documenting business requirements related to trade platform build, translating build requirements into functional specifications, and working closely with technology team to ensure that changes are appropriately implemented within systems and processes.
- Regulatory Reporting: Supporting the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports, and working with technology teams to develop and test regulatory reporting solutions.
- Risk Management: Collaborating with external third party risk and compliance teams to identify and mitigate buyer risks, regulatory name screenings of buyers / sellers and associated third parties. Participate in risk assessments, and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
- Project Management: Participating in regulatory change projects, managing the BA activities within these projects, and ensuring that regulatory requirements are effectively incorporated into project deliverables.

In addition to the above responsibilities, your role may also involve contributing to the development of trade platform build strategies, participating in external buyer audits, and providing training and guidance to teams on trade platform specifications.

It's important to have a strong understanding of regulations, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic SME environment. Additionally, proficiency in reporting tools, knowledge of hardware products and services, and experience with agile methodologies would be beneficial in this role.
