**VP, Regulatory Compliance - European Corporate Investment Bank - Central, Singapore**
An established European Corporate Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to provide compliance guidance and support to the regulatory compliance team for the local business.
You will work closely with the Head of Compliance to liaise on regulatory compliance matters. You will be the primary contact point for regulatory notifications, maintenance of compliance framework and relevant controls. In return, you will enjoy an attractive total remuneration of up to S$120,000.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily compliance support in the advice and review of local legislative and financial regulatory requirements.
- Support interactions with the regulators, as well as managing and coordinating enquiries, regulatory meetings, inspections and investigations.
- Work closely with the team and internal stakeholders on the analysis and assessment of key financial regulatory developments, consultations or discussion papers.
- Develop, review, and maintain local compliance policies and procedures.
- Take on ad hoc projects and/or other regulatory compliance-related work.
You are required to have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance.
- Strong command of capital markets regulations (e.g., SFA, FAA, BA).
- Ability to interpret and translate laws, rules, and regulations for effective operational compliance.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, professionalism in corresponding with authorities, and representing the team.
