The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems. These include antenna design and electromagnetics, as well as next-wave technologies in the areas of lasers and advanced materials.

Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Be responsible for the development of structural platforms and support technology developmental projects
- Perform design, modelling and validation of a structure entity/entities
- Involved in experimentation validation e.g. materials testing to parts' fabrication and testing

**Requirements**:

- Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in reinforced composite fabrication will be advantageous
- Proficiency in FE analysis and modelling (E.g. ABAQUS / ANSYS / NASTRAN etc)
- Able to exhibit analytical thinking to address / solve unstructured problems
- Able to work in both lab and field testing environment
- Able to engage with vendors to translate the design to parts' fabrication
- Able to work with teams of diverse backgrounds
