**Responsibilities**

As a Business Analyst, you will work in collaboration with a government agency, contributing as a key member of the project team, comprising the Product/Project Manager, Solution Architect, and Technical Services Consultant. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver ICT solutions to support Singapore's vision of becoming a Smart Nation.

In this role, you will:

- Elicit business needs and analyze business problems to define and deploy digital solutions for citizens, businesses, and public officers.
- Collaborate with outsourced, co-sourced, or insourced development teams to ensure delivery of well-defined digital solutions.
- Provide advice to stakeholders on best practices in using digital technologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the deployment of digital solutions.

**Key Tasks Include**:

- Partner with business teams to identify and analyze citizen/business needs using human-centric, visual methods like service journeys, and develop business cases.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop user stories, technical/functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies while aligning with strategic directions, such as cloud-based solutions, modernization of legacy systems, and the SG Tech Stack.
- Identify and adopt appropriate development methodologies (e.g., Agile or Waterfall) in various development environments.
- Plan, review, and conduct testing and data conversion to meet specifications.
- Drive product/system readiness for smooth deployment, adoption, and operations.
- Analyze and address technical problems during the Operations & Maintenance phase.
- Assess and manage the impact of requested changes while proposing continuous improvements.

**Experience and Skills Needed**
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related fields.
- Participation in at least one full software/product development cycle, preferably using Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of customer/user experience, design thinking, service journey mapping, and digital product lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of cloud-based technology, enterprise architecture, and modernizing legacy systems.
- Familiarity with the SG Tech Stack or equivalent technologies.
- Experience in collaborative environments with co-sourced or outsourced teams.
