Job Summary

The role of Assistant / Warehouse Supervisor is responsible in leading and guiding a team of Inventory Controller and Warehouse Assistants in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and functional towards business excellence. Your duty is to delegate tasks to the team members and to ensure that the team members execute the day-to-day warehouse activities professionally, diligently and in an orderly manner. You are also required to plan and work with the Manager as well as the team members on continuous improvement process of the warehouse and throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

- Schedule duty roster for the team to perform warehousing activities such as order receiving, label and storage, order fulfillment in accordance with standard operating procedures;
- Coordinate and liaise with the end-user and 3PL service provider to fulfil last mile delivery in accordance to customer’s requirement and in a timely manner;
- Supervise the team to operate material handling equipment in a safe manner for unloading, loading and transferring activities;
- Supervise the team to perform proper packing of stock items for safe storage;
- Guide the team to perform proper labeling on stock items for easy identification and accurate location put-away;
- Act as a secondary owner for a safe, tidy and clean warehouse through regular 5S housekeeping;
- Maintain a satisfactory standard of security and access for the purpose of safe custody of stocks and warehouse facility;
- Perform all duties in a safe manner following all safety policies and procedures with the objective of a zero incident workplace and 100% inventory accuracy;
- Support inventory audits, annual physical stock count, and periodic cycle counting;
- Oversee administrative and system tasks related to the warehousing activities such as order receiving, label & storage and material order fulfillment are being carried out in accordance to Standard Operational Procedure guidelines;
- Maintain high data integrity for system transactions in the computerized maintenance warehouse management system (WMS);
- Maintain proper documentation records system and all documentation are keep digitally for easy record retention purposes;
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job Specification:

- Possess Diploma qualification in Supply Chain Management / Warehousing / Logistics or related field of study;
- Have 4 years of relevant working experience with 2 years in a Supervisory / Team Lead role;
- Responsible, initiative, positive mindset, indpendent and a good team player with good work ethics;
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
