Responsible for providing business analysis, insights, and trend reporting to support the evaluation and development of strategic plans and business initiatives that drive the performance of the company. Provides strong thought partnership that is based on deeply rooted business understanding.

This position is the key custodian of McDonald’s business analytics that assist the management and cross functional teams in decision making process.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Insights
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Translating business requirements into data analysis plans and data models
- Analysing complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
- Creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.

- Strong grasp of the business metrics and constantly on top of how the business, initiatives and programs are performing in the market. Look after the following key metrics among others:

- Sales, Guest Count and Average Cheque at total and channel level
- Sales and GC build projection and tracking
- Custodian of Product mix, Transactional level data and Store factsheets
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly business performance reviews.
- Works with different departments to ensure that numbers shared with management is the single source of truth.
- Leads Pricing strategy & recommendation, leveraging consumer insights and working with our Pricing agency partner.
- Leads In-store testing of key initiatives together with our Test & Learn agency partner from design to analysis to reporting.
- Conceptualizes, develops, and establishes business and management reports to aid in operational and business decisions.
- Reviews and improves business systems and processes.

Strategic Planning and Development
- Plays a key supporting role in company planning process.
- Provides strategic direction by monitoring, analysing and synthesizing business data and trend information.
- Drives the monthly Sales and Guest Count target setting.
- Consolidates learnings to provide clear direction, including identification of strengths and weaknesses of the business and to define threats and challenges to the business.
- Key insight and thought partner for Value, Delivery, CRM, and Digital platforms.

Building Relationships
- Supports cross functional teams and adds sound business insights to assigned projects.
- Supports other colleagues as required to ensure all deadlines are met and reports are produced within the agreed timeframes.
- Provides advice and training in areas of business analytics expertise to members of team and other departments.
- Shares point of views, even if differing, in a professional and collaborative way
- Builds collaboration by establishing, communicating, and reinforcing McDonald’s company values.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Minimum a degree in Economics/ Business Administration/Statistics and/or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years in working in a quantitative analytical environment.
- Strong data analytics to understand and derive insights from varying sets of business data to provide sound business recommendations and assist in evaluating key initiatives.
- Ability to demonstrate or have proven track records in possessing business acumen/business knowledge/planning & analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and database access tools including Power BI.
