Digitalgene.ai is an innovative AI+Bio startup, backed by top venture capitalists and powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and high-throughput RNA technology. They are dedicated to using large language models (LLM) to study the linguistics of biology. This approach accelerates drug design processes and improves the clinical success of AI-generated molecules. Their platform has uncovered multiple high-value pipelines ready for licensing and developed numerous AI drug discovery tools to foster innovation for the biopharma community.

**Job Overview**:
They are seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join their fast-growing AI + Bio startup as a Business Development Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving strategic decision-making and business development efforts by providing insightful analysis and actionable recommendations at the intersection of artificial intelligence and biotechnology. You will directly report to CEO.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the AI + Bio industry landscape.
- Research and identify potential business opportunities, strategic partners, and collaborators in the AI + Bio industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, research institutions, and healthcare organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, scientists, engineers, and marketing specialists, to define and prioritize business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, pitch decks, grant proposals, and other fundraising materials to secure funding and support business growth.
- Stay abreast of geoeconomics, industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in AI and biotechnology, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to leadership.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) preferred.
- **At least 3-5 years of experience in the related field.**:

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise insights for diverse audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, and driving results in a startup environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and navigate complex decision-making processes.
