**About the Role**:We are looking for an experienced and innovative **Equity Portfolio Manager **who can effectively manage portfolios for our Japanese-speaking clients. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong foundation in portfolio management, risk management, and an aptitude for leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimize performance. You will work closely with vendors and industry partners to build and improve portfolio management systems, ensuring they are tailored to meet the needs of high-net-worth clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage equity portfolios for Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring alignment with their financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Utilize advanced technology and financial tools to enhance portfolio performance and streamline operations.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to minimize portfolio volatility.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology providers to build and maintain efficient portfolio management systems.
- Continuously analyze and optimize asset allocation, leveraging both fundamental and technical analysis.
- Provide regular reports and updates to clients, maintaining a high level of transparency and communication.

**Required Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of experience in equity portfolio management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong proficiency in portfolio risk management and optimization strategies.
- Experience in developing or managing portfolio management systems and working with technology vendors.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively about investment strategies and solutions.
- Proficient in Japanese (preferred) to communicate effectively with Japanese clients.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with Japanese-speaking clients or in a Japanese business environment.
- Connections with vendors and technology providers in the portfolio management space.
- Strong understanding of global equity markets and trends.
