They are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Long/Short Equity Portfolio Manager to lead a dedicated strategy focused on Japanese equities. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a market-neutral long/short equity portfolio focused on Japan. Generate alpha through fundamental research, idea generation, and active risk management. Collaborate with global teams while maintaining autonomy over portfolio construction and execution. Adhere to the fund\'s disciplined risk framework and compliance standards. Ideal Candidate Profile Excellent academics, graduating from top performing universities with a degree in a related field. Proven track record of alpha generation in Japanese equities within a long/short framework. Deep understanding of Japan\'s corporate landscape, macroeconomic drivers, and regulatory environment. Minimum 5 years of portfolio management or trading experience. Strong risk-adjusted returns and a clear investment philosophy. Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collegiate, high-performance culture.
