**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The role of Compliance and Audit officer is to provide independent assurance that an organization’s risk **management**, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. The job duty is to provide an unbiased and objective view.

Compliance and Audit officer must be independent from the operations which must evaluate and report to the highest level in an organization.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Plans, directs, and leads day-to-day activities on Various Vehicle Maintenance Schedule and Vehicle Management in alignment with the Company's' ‎mission, vision, values, and operating policies & strategies.
- Analyze critical events and conduct training to prevent or minimize future occurrences
- Conduct accident investigations and reviews and identify at-risk behaviors
- Provide safety and compliance training to Operations personnel
- Collaborate with Operations personnel to further safety initiatives
- Develop safety/regulatory strategy and programs to ensure drivers are compliant with Government policies and regulations
- Oversee maintenance of driver qualification files, renewal documentation, and vehicle maintenance records to ensure compliance with Government regulations
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Driver Traffic & Safety Regulations
- Ensures Traffic compliance is maintained for all drivers.
- Provides vehicles technical and operations support to all drivers & attendants
- Creates and maintains reporting systems for ongoing truck operational issues
- Determines requirements necessary to optimize operations, measures and reports ‎results,
- Creates and implements to improve efficiencies.
- Directs, leads, and guides the operations team in fostering a work environment where ‎employees are productive, compliant, and safe.
- Promotes driver excellence and ensures career development and advancement ‎opportunities
- Fosters an achievement-oriented culture where employees are motivated and ‎rewarded for both individual and team contributions.
- Communicates and collaborates with various departments as needed to improve vehicle problem solving.
- Works with Human Resources to provide the leadership in ‎matters relating to hiring, training, development, discipline, and termination of Drivers & Attendant
- Schedules and leads regular safety Toolbox meetings with Drivers & Attendants.
- Works with Managers & Executives to ensure health and safety standards are adhered to and ‎conducts random safety audits.
- Ensures employees maintain accurate Environment and ‎Regulatory Compliance
- Ensures prompt reporting for any non-compliance events
- Ensures BLF business unit and its services are consistently presented in a strong, ‎positive image.

Instills a passion for customer service and the “customer experience.”
