DESIGNATION : Senior/Principal Engineer, Product Quality

RESPONSIBILITIES

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead the launch of new products (Certification, qualification and implementation).
- Drive the product reliability and quality improvement projects.
- Monitor the field performance, analyze the data together with simulated data from software and implement the improvement plan.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure key project schedule and milestone on time.
- Support Sales and Marketing team to ensure that the products fulfill customer demands.
- Define the next generation PV product specifications and establish the unique selling points.
- Work with module technology and process development teams on the module BoM and technology.
- Product performance characterization review.
- Product benchmark and intelligent.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Generate SolidWorks drawing
- Create product datasheet and PAN file
- Conduct performance simulations using dedicated software (PVsyst, Helioscope, Aurora etc )
- Lead field performance monitoring
- Assist R&D and process teams with technical analyses, troubleshooting and improvement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc / PhD in Engineering or Science is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product development, performance monitoring and improvement.
- Knowledge of the functionalities of PV module components.
- Knowledge in performance simulation software.
- Possess excellent project management skills, keeping track of key milestones and deliverables and providing regular updates to management team.
- Excellent team worker.
- Ability to co-operate with different professionals (operations, equipment suppliers, technology institutes, supply chain, operation).
- Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries is an advantage.
- Experience in using module simulation software e.g. PVsyst and Helioscope.
- Proficient in Software statistical tools is an added advantage (Minitab, JMP, etc)
- Experience in using drawing software e.g. Solidwork and AutoCad.
