Singapore NTU (Nanyang Technology University- Main Office-HR) Full time

As part of the Student Life arm of the Undergraduate Programmes Office (UPO), this position will support and evolve an enriching, engaging and developmental student life in NBS, NTU.

This is a key support role to achieve the following:
- Foster a sense of community and belonging to NBS, NTU amongst our students
- Establish a support network for students to navigate life in university
- Support student leadership and developmental programmes outside the classroom
- Deepen student engagement through various types of programmes, activities and events

The incumbent will assist the Senior Assistant Manager (Student and Leadership Development) to provide holisitc support. At the same time, this role will be required to interact and interface with external stakeholders such as alumni, advisory board, etc. to facilitate stakeholder involvement to contribute to the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

To support and run student life initiatives and programmes to promote student interactions and strengthen student engagement and experience:

- Work with students, student leaders, student ambassadors and student clubs/organisations to organise events, activities and programmes to build and strengthen the sense of community between student cohorts, seniors and alumni
- Run student engagement events such as welcome sessions, orientation programmes, feedback, focus groups and dialogue sessions, workshops, and other student activities
- Organise student leadership programmes, student development activities and enrichment programmes such as case competitions, shark tanks, student entrepreneurship initiatives and community projects
- Mentor, coach and support students and student leaders in running student clubs, interest groups and other student organisations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize and execute student development activities and leadership programmes
- Assist Senior Assistant Manager in overseeing the administration of Student Life processes (including adherence to corporate governance)
- Assist Senior Assistant Manager in budget planning, generate data and review trends to analyse and conceptualise new policies/initiatives to enhance student experience

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree from a recognized university, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the education sector
- Prior experience in a relevant student life role in in an institution of higher learning will be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, resourceful and flexible in adjusting and responding to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as a team; personal initiative and team spirit in the effective implementation of projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multi-task and deliver with quality and timeliness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, planning and organizational abilities
- Organised and meticulous with an eye for details
- IT and social media savvy, with good knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications
- Preferably knowledgeable in Photoshop and/or Illustrator skills
