Deskimo is a PropTech startup with a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates. Deskimo empowers the hybrid & remote workforce by giving it access to professional workspaces on-demand, without the need for a membership or other commitments. The company is co-founded and led by seasoned tech entrepreneurs. Deskimo was in the Y Combinator S21 batch, the world’s most successful startup accelerator.

Tasks

The Social Media & Content Intern will get broad exposure and insights into topics that are of relevance to a fast-growing tech startup.

**Some of the tasks will include but are not limited to**:

- Build and maintain a social media marketing plan and content distribution schedule
- Use Canva, Placeit and other similar platforms to create images for social media
- Create & publish blog posts on Deskimo's wordpress blog
- Work closely with the operational teams in all markets to publish relevant content
- Create and send newsletters (EDMs) using customer.io to the audience of Deskimo
- Manage Deskimo's social media platforms such as Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook
- Act as first-level customer support for inquiries via social media platforms
- Work closely with the product team and other marketing team members
- Support the founders and local teams in the overall development of the company

**Requirements**:

- Above-average academic degree in marketing, literature, languages, journalism, or similar
- Previous internship experience a plus, ideally in social media and/or marketing
- Extreme attention to detail with a particular emphasis on the production of quality work plus

- Analytical thinking, strong commercial judgment and a well-developed sense of responsibility
- Hands-on and success-driven, able to take ownership
