DESIGNATION : Events Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will focus on planning and organizing meaningful experiential events to support NVPC’s various programmes, ranging from award ceremonies to large-group corporate engagements with senior-level VIPs to smaller-scale workshops, networking events or focus group discussions. This includes being responsible for the end-to-end development, planning, creation of unique experiences, management, and execution, in addition to general marketing support for the creation of marketing collaterals to promote the events.

1. Lead the planning and organisation of events such as the President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards, Champions of Good and SG Cares Giving Week etc, from inception to delivery.

2. Collaborate with all external and internal stakeholders to create unique event experiences that communicate our key messages.

3. Lead the content creation and content marketing creative process, including design of invites, marketing collaterals, event production, video production and digital marketing as necessary.

4. Prepare and align with event budgets, negotiation with vendors, procurement and providing support in administrative duties.

5. Project manage hybrid events, particularly the virtual component (live broadcast)

6. Provide support for other NVPC’s events in terms of planning, procurement, logistics, coordination with partners and vendors and other areas as necessary, meeting the objectives and goals set.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a diploma/bachelor's degree or it's equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in organising events, preferably with events marketing experience
- Strong ability to design and deliver physical and hybrid events
- Excellent project management skills
- Have digital skillsets such as familiarity in managing admin user roles on virtual platforms and social media
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, in a team environment and manage third party vendors
- General marketing skills that involves production of marketing collaterals and video production
- Passionate about the non-profit sector and making a difference
