Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions. **What does the Operational Risk Team do in ING?** Operational risk professionals based in Singapore covering Asia as well as Singapore on various operational risk topics such as Outsourcing, Payment, Fraud, Financial/SOX reporting, Personal & Physical Security. **What would you be doing?** - Assist in preparation of Non-Financial Risk Committee, and Management reporting. - Assist in risk assessments, and control testing activities. - Investigate risks and events, researches individual cases and makes an analysis. - Assist the Singapore Operational Risk team on any ad hoc projects that arises from ordinary course of business **What qualities and skills are we looking for?** We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria: - Keen attention to detail - Keen learner - Ability to multi-task - Organized and have good interpersonal skills - Enjoy challenges and willing to take on new tasks - "Hands-on" - Possess a positive "can do" attitude - Team player - Experience in web programming languages will be looked on favorably **What would you gain from this internship?** - Experience on what the Operational Risk Function is all about - Meet and liaise with various stakeholders in the bank - Have a general understanding of the bank's processes **Need more information?** Job ID REQ-10074754
