Cornerstone is a successful Independent Financial Adviser and Exempt Insurance Broker with over two decades of experience. To support our growing commercial insurance broking business, we are seeking for a Claims & Servicing Specialist to join our client servicing team.
Our client servicing team plays an important role in supporting our advisors on the general administration of corporate policies. In particular, the management of insurance claims play an essential function in the day-to-day servicing of each policy.
Your role will primarily be focused on claims management and advocacy as well as member experience:
- Work with clients, insurers, Third Party Administrators and internal team members to create, implement and sustain a smooth and efficient member experience for employee benefits policies.
- Supporting clients and insured members with queries on policy coverage and navigating through claim procedures from submission to outcomes and appeals.
- Keeping abreast of claim processes and policy features.
- Preparation of annual claim analysis and member experience feedback reports.
- Analysing and reviewing coverage adequacy for key accounts.
Additionally, you will work closely with the rest of client servicing team in general servicing matters as necessary:
- Attend to member movements and adjustment billing.
- Filing of policy documents.
To succeed in this position, you will require the following:
- Eye for detail.
- Experience in insurance claims, particularly in Employee Benefits, will be ideal*.
- Experience in flexi benefits scheme will be an advantage.
- Technical strength in insurance clauses and terminologies.
- Team player who can work independently.
- Customer-oriented and willingness to go the extra mile to champion our clients' interests.
- Relevant qualifications such as the Certification in General Insurance, Health Insurance and CMFAS M9 by Singapore College of Insurance.
