**About the Role**:
The **Trade Compliance Executive **will maintain Evident’s effective, risk-based trade compliance program. You will be responsible for monitoring trade compliance in export/import operations and customs brokerage and ensuring that the trade activities of Evident across all product and business units, comply with the relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transaction screening and resolution.
- Review and approve requests on new customer setup and controlled shipment.
- Perform denied party screening.
- Review & advice HS Codes and ECCN for existing and new products.
- Verify Commercial Invoices for HS code, ECCN and declaring value accuracy for import & export.
- Ensure accurate trade compliance data maintenance & management.
- Work with cross functional teams such as customer care, sales & service to ensure that the business can meet customer commitments in a compliant manner.
- Be the liaison between Evident and Singapore customs for audits, queries or submission.
- Work closely with respective business units to classify finished goods, repair units, spare parts, and demo assets for export control & determine the applicable export control jurisdiction(s).
- Management of Evident Singapore’s customs brokers through the broker scorecard
- Provide key opinion in all export control and trade compliance matters.
- Provide training to stakeholders on export control and trade compliance.
- Liaise with business partners and contractors, including trading companies, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to address any operational issues.
- Outright regularly to business stakeholders to ensure trade compliance requirements are understood and embedded in transactional routines.
- Process governance for export control and trade compliance.
- Support internal and corporate assessments and audits of export/import activities.
- Support the development and implementation of export/import guidance documents, policies, procedures and training.

**Formal Qualifications**

Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent.

**Key Skills / Core Competencies**
- Familiarity with APAC export control laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative work style, anticipate problems, succeed in resolving difficult situations and effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency (written and oral) in English

**Experience**
- Min 2 years of experience in Trade Compliance
- Experience in Customs clearance and HTS classification issues, including resolution
