The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. **About the Team**:
- The Singapore Business Product Management team (SG BPM) at Shopee empowers sellers and buyers from all over the world to sell and buy in the Singapore market. The SG product team is part of the SG team scope and is committed to providing Singapore buyers with the best e-commerce experience in the most cost-effective way. Positioned at the crossroads of Business, Operations, and Product, the team strives to improve the end-to-end user experience by creating innovative services to exceed users' expectations.
- We are looking for self-driven individuals to join our team in shaping the future of e-commerce in Singapore. The stiff-neck competition and unique operating environment in the Singapore market makes this role a highly challenging and fulfilling one.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: planning, researching, designing, implementing, and evaluating product solutions tailored for Singapore’s e-commerce operations.
- Define and drive operational performance metrics, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on business outcomes and long-term strategy.
- Partner with logistics, supply chain, commercial, and product teams to design scalable tools and processes that optimise demand forecasting, SKU management, vendor efficiency, and cost control.
- Leverage analytics, automation, and AI/ML models to improve operational accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable business requirements (BRDs) and align stakeholders on prioritisation and product direction.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure Singapore-specific needs are incorporated into broader product strategies.
- Manage feature rollouts, including deployment planning, training, feedback gathering, and iteration.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency, delivering measurable results across both front-end user experience and back-end operations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in any field
- Minimally 4 years of total experience
- Minimally 3 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management or Business Analytics
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable operational or cost efficiency improvements.
- Strong analytical foundation, with hands-on skills in SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, BigQuery).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex technical/business concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- High ownership, bias for action, and ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
- Adaptable, resilient, and motivated by continuous learning and improvement.
