**Attachment Description**
- Reporting to the Director (Project Manager), the Site Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day operations at various renovation job sites. You will oversee a team of in-house workers who carry out painting, tiling, flooring, hacking, and demolition works. Your main role is to ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and meets company quality standards.
- The Site Manager will act as the main point of contact on-site, supervising workers, managing site workflow, monitoring progress, and resolving any site issues as they arise. You will be responsible for keeping the Project Manager updated on job status, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining site cleanliness, and handling documentation such as daily reports, compliance records, and checklists.
- The role includes frequent site visits, progress monitoring, site inspections, and documentation. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards, handle public and neighbour complaints (e.g., dust, noise), and support the Project Manager in improving site safety and operational processes.
**Specific Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily work on-site, managing in-house renovation workers for painting, tiling, flooring, and demolition jobs.
- Monitor job progress and ensure tasks are completed according to schedule, design, and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, checks, and ensure all team members follow proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work procedures.
- Prepare and submit daily site updates, photo records, and work progress reports.
- Plan manpower allocation and materials needed for each project.
- Respond to on-site challenges, make quick decisions, handle any public feedback related to site conditions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in risk assessments, compliance documentation, and developing safety improvement measures.
**Technical Skills and Competencies**
- At least 1 year of experience in renovation, construction, or site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of renovation works including painting, tiling, flooring, and hacking.
- Experience managing teams of workers and coordinating site operations.
- Familiarity with WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) practices and safety protocols.
- Able to read simple plans or drawings and follow work schedules.
- Confident in solving on-site issues and guiding workers in their tasks.
- Physically fit.
- Relevant safety certification (e.g., Work-At-Height, BCSS, etc.) is an advantage.
