**Summary**:

Our organization is driving value creation through a strategic approach to financial and operational risk management across our Global footprint. Reporting to the GRM Financial Risk Management (FRM) Team Leader, this role will be a project leader and thought partner responsible for driving financial and operational strategy across GRM’s East Region (includes Asia Multi Country Market operations, India, Malaysia and China Markets) by managing cross-functional risk management projects. You will partner with various stakeholders and leaders across the GRM East Region, oversee the risk and control initiatives performed by our Global Risk team and support/enable Regional Leadership.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports and drives the establishment and execution of ONE GRM Control Environment strategy in the East region through day-to-day interactions.
- Effectively partners with and influences various teams and leaders in GRM Finance, GRM East Regional teams, Global Internal Audit and Corporate Finance.
- Owns relationship with and influences senior leaders in the East Region (CROs, Market Presidents, Market Finance Leaders, Regional CFO/COO), GRM Finance, Global Internal Audit, Global Compliance and Corporate Finance
- Leads and owns regional Risk & Controls Steer Co meetings
- Delivers advanced insights that includes proposing strategic and tactical direction impacting financial integrity and operational efficiency
- Defined scopes for and mobilizes various risk initiatives across the region including those considered complex in nature with function and region-wide impact (e.g., strategically important, technical in nature, large budget, 12-month or more timeframe, etc.).
- Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders within and beyond the project team.
- Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options and influences recommended approach.
- Effectively manages project lifecycle with internal and external partners (e.g. Consulting engagements), employing proper tools in;
- defining the opportunity to address with input from stakeholders
- identifying & gaining agreement on the project’s objectives, scope, timing & resources
- planning activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results
- overseeing day-to-day work and monitoring progress towards goals
- managing & resolving issues that arise
- managing project close-out
- Develops and effectively delivers presentations on opportunities, status and outcomes by tailoring content to target audience with mínimal guidance from manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree and CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Risk, Controls and/or Finance functions
- Proven ability to manage and balance multiple projects / work streams successfully
- Displays strong business acumen, organizational, integrated, analytical and critical thinking. Solid knowledge of project management principles and concepts
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and cultural dexterity skills. Proven ability to build successful working relationships
- Experience influencing leaders. Will need to influence actions and drive results among parties with different agendas, cultures and reporting relationships.
- Driven and flexible enough to succeed in ambiguous and less structured situations
- Ability to break-down broad objectives to tactical goals and effectively communicate to stakeholders
- Experience working with Asia-Pacific or international finance teams is a plus
