- **Position Overview**

CF&A is one of the Wholesale Banking sectors and services a range of international commodity, food and agricultural clients. The portfolio is diverse, ranging from food companies to commodity traders. The sector composes of three subsectors being Trade and Commodity Finance (TCF), Food Beverage and Agri (FB&A) and Metals Mining and Fertilizers (MMF), serving clients across the supply chains.

We are looking for someone to join our Transaction and Regulatory (T&R) team. As a T&R Expert, you will be working closely with commercia front office colleagues and T&R colleagues in other sector teams and play a key role in supporting the delivery of banking services to our client.
- **Key responsibilities**
- You are jointly accountable with the front office for credit and operational risk and compliance
- Supporting front office staff in execution of lending transactions and commercial activities by managing Vantage data/Lending system input and maintenance, portfolio reporting and covenant/collateral management
- Drive regulatory related portfolio reporting on a recurring basis as well as managing ad hoc reporting requests
- Ensure timely implementation of internal policy changes and new regulations. Identify additional requirements, recommend improvements and process changes
- Jointly responsible with other T&R Expert colleagues for workload division, problem solving, coaching, and alignment on changing requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree

Previous banking experience
- 3 years banking experience
- Experience in business management / operations role

Technical skills
- Strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills
- Business process optimisation (e.g. Six Sigma)

Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- An ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Existing network within ING

Other skills, competencies and capabilities
- Strong time management and prioritisation capabilities.
- Very structured process mindset
- Good learning agility
