We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Operations, with a primary focus on corporate banking loans settlement, to join our client - a foreign brand in the banking industry.

In this team lead role, you will provide leadership for overseeing and managing the efficient and accurate settlement of corporate banking loan transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end process of corporate banking loans settlement, including loan disbursements, repayments, rollovers and associated documentation. You will ensure process optimization through continuously review and enhance operational processes, systems, and workflows to streamline loan settlement activities, minimize operational risk, and improve overall efficiency.

You should have strong stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth and timely loan settlement, addressing any issues or discrepancies that may arise. You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational controls, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks associated with loan settlement processes.

To succeed in this position, you will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and ideally with certifications in CFA, FRM. You should have extensive experience in operations management within corporate banking, specifically in loans settlement, with a deep understanding of loan products, documentation, and related processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement appropriate solutions are desirable traits.
