Job Summary

Job summary:
The Purchasing Manager will be based in Changi South, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:

- Streamline Purchasing processes, develop integrated Purchasing strategies to effectively manage the suppliers on order fulfillment, assurance of supply
- Lead, develop & implement policies, procedures and metrics to effectively manage the Materials shortages & ensure order fulfillment. Streamline procedures and implement solutions.
- Manage the team to achieve Key KPI on OTD, Inventory turns, excess & obsolescence, aging Inventory, day of supply in RAW, WIP & SG....
- Interface with both internal & external stakeholder to derive achievable targets, set up strategic plan and drive the team towards meeting the target as set forth
- Closely monitor on the load versus commit, ensure appropriate actions are taken on order execution to avoid obsolescence.
- Create an environment that fosters team building & high performance

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor in Business administration/Inventory management/Supply chain is preferred
- Min 8-10 years of relevant work experience in Purchasing related Functions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical & problem solving & organizational skills
- Good team player
