Singapore XCL WORLD ACADEMY PTE. LTD. Full time

XCL World Academy has vacancies for **Secondary Years EAL -FEP Teacher**.**This is a full-time contract position starting from 1 August 2025.

Preference will be given to teachers who have credentials in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, and with SIOP, WIDA, and TPR experience, as well as teachers with a clear track record of superior teaching in international school settings.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Teachers should be willing to contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the Foundational English Program (FEP) department and broader SY Team.
- Demonstrates professional ethics, international mindedness and the school’s mission.
- Adheres cooperatively to XCL policies and regulations, including duties, deadlines, programme requirements.
- Seeks clarification in case of lack of clarity in order to fully meet all expectations of the role and sets and maintains consistently high standards.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment documentation.
- Show exemplary attendance to work eg. recognises the importance and provides support for XCL extended school day activities.

**Person Specifications**
- Undergraduate degree from a recognised university or college.
- Teacher professional certification specific to Applied Linguistics, TESOL and EAL.
- Teaching experience and professional certification specific to applied position.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a class teacher, preferably in an international K-12 school.
- Preferred minimum 2 years of relevant IB programme experience.
- Possess skills and attitudes aligned to the purpose, mission and vision of XCL World Academy
- Need clear eagerness, resilience and understanding to engage and collaborate in the development of a highly aspirational school.
- Have demonstrated commitment and education and learning beyond the classroom.
- Be flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
- Salary commensurate with experience (International School) and according to the School's teaching scale.
- This is a full time 2 year contract position, renewal will be offered based on performances and class allocations.
