**Role Profile**
- To effectively support the Agency, the Technology business unit requires a Business Analysis Practice Lead for managing a team of Business Analysts who provide support to projects and scrum teams across the agency.- Reporting to the **Manager, Delivery, Testing and Business Analysis**, Investment Delivery and Platforms, the **Business Analysis Practice Lead **is responsible for uplifting the business analysis capability covering defining a framework, maturity model & measurements, mentoring, coaching, recruitment and overall KPI’s. The practice operates as a Centre of Excellence (CoE), providing resources, standards & best practices, methods and processes into various technology teams who are affecting change across all business lines in the agency.**Reports to**

**Strategy**
- Active contributor and implementor of the Delivery, Business Analysis and Testing (DBAT) Centre of Excellence strategy.
- Focus on BA service excellence, develop and refine business analysis methodologies, best practices and standards.
- Establish a strong framework that encompasses governance, standard/policy setting and compliance assessment/monitoring of adoption across all technology initiatives in the agency.
- Foster a working environment where decisions are data based and reporting is self-serviceable.
- Standardize processes for requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation.
- Ensure that business analysis practices align with industry standards (e.g., BABOK) and organizational needs.
- Defining and implementing an appropriate sourcing strategy within the BA COE to support run and change initiatives.
**Collaboration and Adoption**
- Collaborate with BA’s to understand their needs, priorities, challenges and provide solutions.
- Through communities of practice, foster a culture of collaboration between the BA capability and technology teams, continuously eliciting feedback about their challenges and level of satisfaction.
- Promote the catalogue of tools and frameworks offered to technology teams, market initiatives that are in progress.
- Work closely with teams evaluating and determining the practices and tooling that make them more productive, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
- Work closely with teams to implement leaner ways for product portfolio management and backlog management, grooming, prioritisation, monitoring and control and retrospectives.
- Provide coaching, education and support to stakeholders, being an advocate and promote strong delivery and business analysis practice.
- Establish metrics to assess standards adoption and business value.
