- Role Overview:

- Responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials from approved vendors at competitive costs while consistently meeting quality and delivery requirements, and liaising with suppliers to manage orders. To support the implementation of supply chain goals for low volume/ high mix parts and assemblies.
- On a typical day you will:
- Issue Purchase Orders based on purchase requisition.-
- Ensure Purchase Orders details accuracy.-
- Download and compile data into report including but not limiting to purchase order daily report.-
- Update estimated time of arrivals for open POs.-
- Work with suppliers on PO issuance.-
- Work closely with vendors on new orders, reschedule and cancellation of Open orders.-
- Manage shipments from local/ overseas vendors including freight providers/ couriers on the shipping and delivery instructions.-
- Expedite deliveries to meet business needs.-
- Attend to customers’ or suppliers’ requests whenever necessary.-
- Follow up and expediting on outstanding orders.-
- Source materials and negotiate with suppliers, for better pricing, quantity, and delivery terms.-
- Comparison of pricing and counter propose to end user for alternative source.-
- Manage on-time delivery and Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) programs.-
- Identification and onboarding of new supply sources as required.- What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Min. Diploma in Supply Chain and/or equivalent experience-
- Knowledge of procurement practices, terms, negotiation concepts is preferred and ability to build rapport with both customers and vendors-
- Experience in ERP system, preferably using JDE-
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment-
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills-
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.-
- Proficient in Microsoft Words and Excel-
