**JOB SUMMARY**
- This JD outlines the expectations for a senior executive responsible for leading the development, implementation, and growth of digital Business Banking Propositions globally in Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business. This high-impact role will focus on defining the future of digital Business Banking propositions, creating seamless, innovative and client centric solutions that will elevate the client experience, engagement & loyalty across markets and client segments.
- The Business Banking Proposition Head is responsible for Business Banking and SME Delivery. In this role, the appointed individual will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and operational excellence of our business banking and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) segment. The role will oversee product delivery, customer experience, and operational performance, ensuring our offerings meet the diverse needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs while contributing to overall business growth.
- This role requires a deep understanding of Business Banking products, propositions and services as well as a sound appreciation of the regulatory landscape of the financial industry. It also requires the job holder to lead in transformation agenda to drive scalable, client centric solutions that meet the diverse clients’ needs in a volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous (VUCA) environment. The role will work closely WRB markets heads, Business Banking Heads, CIB delivery heads and Technology delivery teams to ensure the successful digital delivery of Buisness Banking products and services across the global footprint.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Strategy**
- Define and execute the overall strategy for business banking and SME propositions and operating model.
- Lead and drive initiatives to expand and enhance the bank’s SME portfolio, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set business objectives and align strategies with corporate goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to ensure our SME offerings remain competitive and compliant.
- Conduct market research and client surveys to understand evolving needs and preferences, leveraging insights for strategic decision-making.
- Connect delivery agenda to the business development efforts for the business banking and SME segments, including identifying new market opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key SME clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Set performance targets and monitor progress, ensuring consistent achievement of sales and growth objectives.
**Business**
- Oversee the end-to-end digital development and launch of Business Banking propositions & partnerships, ensuring they meet the local demands and align with regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Lead efforts to deeply understand customers needs, pain points and behaviours, ensuring that product propositions are designed to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Develop and manage a global digital delivery roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key features and initiatives.
- Prioritize digital product & partnership initiatives and enhancements based on strategic impact, customer demand, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with Business Banking product vision and customer needs.
- Lead innovation efforts to adapt to evolving market conditions, regulatory changes, and the changing needs of Business Banking clients across the client continuum.
- Collaborate with Business Banking Markets Heads, external vendors, counterparties/ product providers to design and deliver integrated digital solutions to enhance digital capabilities that address client and market needs across the customer Lifecyle and segment continuum.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, to deliver features and improvements on time and within scope.
- Champion a customer-centric culture by driving initiatives that improve the overall client experience, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Work closely with customer service and relationship teams to resolve issues, address feedback, and enhance service quality.
- Implement effective processes for client onboarding, loan origination, and post-loan servicing.
