**Job Description**:
Rockwell Automation is looking for an experienced and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic and software development team.

As a Software Manager, you will help drive the delivery of high-quality software products, managing a team of experienced developers, working as part of a global product development team, and contributing to the success of our organization.

You have a track record in software product development and the ability to balance with strategic goals.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- You will Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and work environment.
- You will Provide guidance to team members, ensuring their professional growth; develop a world-class software team through competency development and performance management.
- We will Oversee the delivery of software projects within established timelines and budget constraints.
- You will Collaborate with teams to define project requirements, scope, and goals. Manage and allocate resources to meet project goals and deadlines.
- You will Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable software products.
- We will Guide and progress within the software development team. Assess and address skill gaps within the team through training and recruitment.
- You will Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to improve software development processes.
- You will Collaborate with partners, including product managers, to define technology roadmap and ensure understanding of our goals.
- We will provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones to senior management.

**The Essentials - You Will Have**:

- You will graduate from Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You have Technical background with expertise in developing cross-platform (Windows and Linux) software products with software/firmware interfaces.

**The Preferred - You Might Also Have**:

- Experience in software development, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- And interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies.
- Project management.
- You will communicate with your team reporting to you.
