**[What you will be working on]**
- Set and review the NLB Academy’s strategic goals with clear deliverables and outcomes, aligning with NLB’s overarching strategic direction.
- Collaborate with relevant divisions within NLB to facilitate the setup of the NLB Academy.
- Design and deliver relevant learning programmes, including overseas exchange opportunities to uplift the professionalism of library and archives communities based on determined capability gaps.
- Source and build a sustained pool of trainers for the NLB Academy, ensuring the availability of qualified professionals to deliver high-quality training programs aligned with the Academy's strategic objectives.
- Promote NLB Academy’s services to meet domestic, regional, and international training needs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the NLB Academy and provide guidance on program development and implementation.
**[What we are looking for]**
- Proven track record with at least 15 years of relevant experience in Continuing Education and Training, professional development, or equivalent setting, including at least 10 years in leadership roles.
- Passionate about current and emerging trends in library and information science, continuous education, and professional development.
- Driven, creative, and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage business priorities, employee relationships, and stakeholders’ needs.
The successful applicant will be appointed on a two-year contract.
