**Direct Search Global is working with a Singapore listed firm to fill a position for Senior Accountant to be based at their office in Singapore.**
- Managing a team of 6 Accounts Executives.
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing budgets for review by management.
- Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
- Maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Completing external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Assisting with financial and tax audits.
- Summarizing financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Avoiding legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
- Securing financial information by completing database backups.
- Producing payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Able to work with little to no supervision.
- Familiar with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
