Core Responsibilities
- Planning/ ordering to supplier, manage delivery to packaging sites and react on demand plan to maintain product availability and inventory performance.
- Jointly review with supplier to ensure enough capacity reserved for product novelties and carryover products.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering and supplier to deliver a feasible launch plan through product launch process.
- Manage service level of logistics service provider jointly with global shipping network and logistics service procurement team.
- Work on ECO / product evolution process. Resolve supply risk during any transition periods.
- Improve supply chain efficiency and productivity by challenging supply lead-time, inventory and total cost-to-deliver.
- Manage non-product purchases from LEGO to suppliers.

Supply Planning and Logistic Department (SP&L) in Parts External Manufacturing (PEM) organization. PEM team sources, develops and delivers diversified portfolio of parts through global third-party manufacturing network. SP&L focuses on supply planning, manage inventory and delivery of products these for LEGO business.
Supply Planning analyst expected to manage supply planning of products, they work closely with procurement and 3rd party manufacturing partners to and ensure its feasibility and flexibility. They improve service (lead time) and inventory performance, while drive productivity by monitoring cost-to-deliver, automating LEGO internal processes/ systems.
Do you have what it takes?
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operation Research or other related fields, or strong proven track record in Supply Chain Planning / Operations / Purchasing / Manufacturing management.
- Min 2y experience in Planning / Procurement / Supply Chain.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Management, purchasing, constraints and productivities in manufacturing, capacity planning, inventory management and control and logistics.
- Project management experience, proven track record in lean / deploying process improvement methodology in supply planning operation.
- Strong team-player, excellent communication skills and collaborating skills.
- Strong understanding of ERP system (e.g. SAP).
- Excellent in analytical skills, doing spreadsheets and database management (e.g. MS Access, Excel, PowerBI, or other BI tools)
- Previous experience working in International company.
- Proven skills and sound knowledge in remote / international supplier network management.
- Adhere to new developments of ERP, Planning system (e.g. JDA), process automations and data analytics (e.g. Python, R)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
