Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Job Purpose:
To partner closely with the Integrated Solutions (IS) business line to deliver effective People & Culture (P&C) solutions that supports business performance, workforce sustainability and employee engagement. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic P&C partnership with operational execution, underpinned by data insights, digital enablement and a strong understanding of organizational dynamics.
Key responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering & Workforce Advisory
- Serve as a key P&C contact for the IS biz line, providing advice on people-related matters aligned with SJ’s values and strategic direction.
- Support business leaders in organization design, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
- Facilitate implementation of P&C initiatives across IS in close collaboration with the regional IS P&C teams
2. Talent Management & Capability Building
- Drive talent and succession discussions within the business unit and ensure critical roles have robust development plans
- Partner with Global L&D, Strategic People Development and biz leaders to identify upskilling/reskilling needs and support capability development efforts
- Enable early talent development through structure pathways
3. People Insights & Analytics
- Use workforce analytics to derive insights on trends such as attrition, diversity, productivity and engagement.
- Monitor P&C metrics (e.g headcount movements, performance outcomes, etc) to ensure alignment with business needs.
4. Employee Experience & Engagement
- Work with leaders to strengthen team culture, employee experience and engagement thro localized action plans
- Strong execution of employee listening tools (eg engagement surveys), analyse feedback and drive follow-up actions.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to address employee relations matters and ensure fair and timely resolution.
5. P&C Operations and Compliance
- Work closely with P&C Specialist teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition), Global Shared Services to ensure accurate execution of key HR processes incl hiring, onboarding, job evaluations, contract changes and exits.
- Support HR audits, internal reviews, and policy implementations in accordance with regulatory and SJ standards.
6. Digital Enablement
- Support digital adoption of HR platforms (Workday) and self-service tools (employee benefits app) across the business line
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in HR, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, incl experience in a HR business partnering capacity
- Experience supporting large or technical project-based business preferred
