As a Freight Executive at Mercantile Pacific Asia, you will be responsible for managing the transportation and logistics of electronic goods and components. Your primary focus will be on coordinating shipments, negotiating with carriers and freight forwarders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to streamline freight operations and optimize transportation processes for the electronics refurbishing industry. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of international shipping regulations will be crucial in maintaining efficient freight operations and delivering high-quality services to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate transportation of electronic goods, select carriers, and manage shipping documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers for cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Monitor and track electronic goods shipments in real-time to ensure on-time delivery and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Analyze freight costs, optimize transportation spend, and manage carrier performance to maintain an efficient logistics network.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures for electronic goods.
- Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for potential disruptions in electronic goods transportation.
- Continuously improve freight processes, streamline logistics operations, and identify automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to streamline freight operations in the electronics refurbishing industry in Dubai.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics management, preferably in the electronics industry in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance related to electronic goods.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills for freight services in Dubai.
- Proficiency in using freight management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for electronics transportation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners in Dubai.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced electronics refurbishing environment.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and transportation insurance specific to electronic goods is a plus.
