**Job Summary**:
Experienced payroll professional, with 5-10 years’ experience processing payroll for MNC manufacturing companies with at least 500 employees. Expertise in working across different departments/functions eg with IT, Operations, HR, supporting businesses, across borders and different cultures. He/she would be a member of the APAC Corporate Finance team that will in-source and process payroll for 4 entities in Singapore.

He/she will also be task to support APAC Regional payroll.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**UCAP / UCPH / Hamlet & Quantum Clean Payroll Processing**
- Process payroll for the 4 entities in accordance with local law and statutory requirements. Ensuring monthly and bi-monthly payroll are completed within the company and statutory deadlines.

**Working across different functions/departments**
- Partner Operations Manager and HR to compile payroll data such as clocked hours, overtime hours, shifts, PTO, expense claims, overtime and monthly allowances.
- Validate with various Operations managers for any missed hours.
- Generate operational reports from reporting software, and conduct analysis to provide business intelligence to management.

**Maintain Statutory Compliance and Good Governance & Internal Controls - SOX**
- Keep updated with Singapore labor law, statutory contributions, foreign workers’ levy, benefits and tax filings and other payroll related filings with statutory boards.
- Conduct proper payroll and benefits tax declarations of all employees to Inland Revenue, including completion of IR21.

**Accounting**
- Maintain compliance with the Company bonus program, benefit policy and the proper accounting of these expenses.
- Generate month -end accrual compensation and benefits data and assist with month-end closing.
- Submission of government related claims eg. Grants, subsidies, NS claims, childcare leave, paternity, maternity and ensure timely and complete recovery.
- Perform monthly payroll bank account reconciliations to ensure proper clearance of payroll amounts.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Minimum 5-10 years of Singapore payroll
- In-depth processing knowledge of payrolls, Singapore statutory compliance knowledge, such as benefits, tax declaration and related government claims submission such as Childcare leave, grants, national service claims etc.
- Ability to work with different functions/departments such as HR, IT and Operations
- Project management expertise to in-source payroll.
- Work experience with Times Software is desired.
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Analytical skills to provide business intelligence and benchmarking report is a bonus
- Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills, able to multi-tasking, and prioritizing projects.
- Work well in a team environment and have supervisory skills.
- Matured and display sensitivity with confidential materials.
