- 10+ years of infrastructure negotiations (Data Center / colocation / real estate acquisition), and partner/business development and/or program/product management experience in an infrastructure environment.
- Has an established network of business contacts in the Southeast Asian Data Center and Industrial Real Estate markets in addition to contacts with Asia Pacific International Property Consultants/Brokers/Developers.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Knowledgeable about Lease and Real Estate acquisition

Key job responsibilities
- Lead AWS’s Data Center Business Development team in Southeast Asia to own and drive overall Infrastructure strategy.
- Understand the infrastructure market segments, customer base, and industry verticals in Southeast Asia.
- Develop a strategic business development plan for target markets aligned with Infrastructure's strategic direction.
- Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., product teams, Networking, Data Center Engineering, Legal, Tax).
- Oversee the team’s negotiation of key contracts from a business and technical perspective, and lead as required to reach desired outcome.
- Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and support to negotiate a deal that solves their requirements as well as the business objectives.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new deals to ensure compliance with global AWS standards, practices and policies.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the Legal group.
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets.

- Data Center / Collocation Negotiation Vendor Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in Real Estate Development, Management or Urban Planning or a related field.
- Has worked for a data center provider
- High level technical knowledge of data center infrastructure: Relevant certifications such as CDCDP via CNET a plus.
- Knowledge and track record of executing both colocation and Real Estate related Data Center transactions
