This role will work with Founders and Chief of Staff on strategic projects and operationalising them.

We are looking for a talented and mission-centric intern or gap-year graduate to join a high performing team in the Founders’ Office. As the company grows, we must scale the mechanisms and processes to exponentially augment the influence of the CEO. The Founders’ office owns the operating systems of the company, stakeholder alignment and special projects. You will have a front row seat to the most important decisions in Carousell Group, working closely with the CEO and leadership team, and partnering the Strategy and Finance teams in driving strategy and execution.

You will be involved in:

- Translating the company’s strategy into execution plans
- Understanding the core metrics that drive the business, with business and data teams
- Goal setting with data team, to instrument, monitor and understand the business trends
- Running regular operational rituals to track progress against those goals, analyse the trends with business teams, reporting to the Founders’ Office and ensuring accountability from business teams
- Engaging working-level colleagues through firesides, office floor walks
- Ensuring the company vision, strategy and values are reinforced for alignment with the various teams within the company as well as the Carousell board and our stable of investors.
- Developing internal and external comms and presentations, such as for Townhalls, Internal
- Monitoring performance and drive progress on the CEO’s top priorities
- Participate and support mergers and acquisitions, including business analysis and development of joint business plans
- Forge and maintain partnerships strategic to the company, with external businesses and Government stakeholders

**Qualifications**
You are:

- Pursuing a course majoring in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Computing or Engineering in University.
- A critical thinker. You have a curious and analytical mind. You connect the dots quickly to understand complex business issues, breaking it down piece by piece until you resolve them. You also have autonomous data analysis ability. You have demonstrated this in your studies and work.
- An independent, hands-on and resilient problem-solver. You adapt smoothly to new people, approaches and ways-of-work. You roll up your sleeves and refuse to take no for an answer. You have demonstrated this through how you work.
- A strong communicator, both verbal and written, and a team player. You are able to articulate a vision, strategy or idea clearly and concisely so as to align stakeholders to work together positively towards a common goal. You enjoy collaborating with a wide range of functional teams to achieve a goal. You have demonstrated this through how you work.
- The following qualities would be a bonus:

- You have interned at start-ups or scale-ups, working on marketplace or e-commerce models, or have worked in complex matrix organisations
- You are passionate about Carousell’s mission of inspiring every person in the world to start selling and buying to make more possible for one another, and resonate with the vision of ‘secondhand is the first choice’.
- Available to commit to a minimum of 6-month full time internship.
