**Job summary**

1) Responsible for the planning of continuous supply of quality goods and raw materials from suppliers at the best possible rate.

2) People management responsibilities include communicating, supervising and training, planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues and resolving problems.

3) To lead a team of Purchasing Executives.

**Area of responsibilities**

1) Leading & supervising a team of Purchasing Executives in procuring materials.

2) Establish key performance measurements to ensure supplier on-time delivery performance.

3) Sourcing, identify and qualify new potential suppliers both local and oversea supplies.

4) Conduct Supplier performance evaluation on delivery and quality.

5) Review and resolve any supplier issues and stocks shortages.

6) Identifying potential suppliers, Conduct meeting and visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships.

7) Planning direction, guidance and report related to timely, cost effective purchasing.

8) Establish long-term cost reduction goals and realisation.

9) Responsible for Purchasing operation procedures, regular review and update accordingly.

10) Plan and Forecasting status of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels to avoid out of stock issue.

11) Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy on the entry of cost and unit of measurement to maintain the integrity of the system.

12) Manage raw material inventory including ordering of raw materials.

13) Assist in all ISO audits and preparation.

14) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

**Competency requirements**

1) Minimum Diploma / 5 years of purchasing experience.

2) Has working experience in FMCG/quick pace manufacturing environment.

3) Excellent negotiation skills and has good market and commercial awareness.

4) Strong team player with dynamic personality and result oriented.

5) Proactive, analytical with strong negotiation and excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with Strategic Suppliers and internal stakeholder.

6) Meticulous and has problem-solving skills to deliver desire results in meeting procurement KPI targets.

7) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proficiency will be an added advantage.

8) Effective Communication skills.

9) Fluent in Mandarin to communicate with suppliers.

**Working Hours**
Monday - Friday : 8 30am - 5 45pm (1 Hour Break)
Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Saturday Shift Every 4 Weeks)
