Senior Lead of Case Underwriting & Portfolio Management for APAC & MEA region

**What you do**

The Mission of the Underwriting Department is to promote the profitable growth of the RSA line of business focusing on clients / business opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Product & Underwriting RSA liaising with the Market, Operational, Sales, Finance, IT teams and Allianz Partners Business Units in the APAC & MEA region, you will be responsible for the all underwriting activities, including commercial and technical pricing, monitoring and remediation of RSA clients portfolio, developing products and ensuring their compliance with AZP standards. You are responsible for co-defining RSA strategy in order to ensure its profitable growth in the region. You are also responsible for driving and steering the RSA PUW team ensuring the development of the team members and smooth and efficient cooperation of your team with markets and other functions.
- Drive profitability and performance monitoring activities of RSA portfolio in the region in close cooperation with markets and other functions including preparation of schemes performance analysis, remediation plans, Smart Circle and Portfolio Days. Support Planning Dialogue activities from UW perspective. Participate in the development of reliable data sources allowing and developing statistical tools allowing to better control business performance and develop analyses of statistical data and technical results, in all dimensions to detect deviations, and derive insights for trends, frequency and severity assumptions.
- Management of RSA UW processes, ensure accurate and timely preparation of RSA quotation. Manage cooperation and support for Global and Local Sales in all cases where underwriting involvement is required by defining appropriate workflows and ensuring proper allocation of underwriters to individual tasks and, if necessary, enabling participation of particular underwriters in meetings with Business Partners. Contribute to the RSA strategy via deal pricing and underwriting, by choosing best, most optimized approaches to the business partners and deals structures including financial schemes, repricing strategy and all elements impacting final business performance
- Manage the process of preparation and update of tariffs for RSA products across all markets in the region including data collection, harmonization, analysis, modeling, final tariff preparation and testing. Improve underwriting processes and increase offer competitiveness.
- Drive TEX via improvement of data, reporting, analysis and tariff sophistication maximizing available data to improve decision taking processes.
- Ensure development of the team. Perform an assessment of individual employees once a year in order to provide appropriate feedback to each employee and to plan their further professional development.

**What you bring**
- +5 years in UW, pricing, actuarial, finance or similar area; experienced in portfolio management or financial controlling roles
- Experienced in a leadership role
- Used to international teams settings
- Deep knowledge in Insurance and/or Assistance
- Underwriting Know-how including contracts constructions
- Experienced in a divers stakeholder management
