**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a **hands-on and proactive**Assistant Warehouse Manager to support and optimize warehouse operations in our FMCG wholesale business. This role is ideal for an individual who leads by example, is willing to roll up their sleeves, and actively participates in daily warehouse tasks. Strong experience in **warehouse layout planning and space optimization**is crucial.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Hands-On Warehouse Operations & Space Optimization**
- Actively participate in **receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching**of goods.
- Lead and assist in **loading and unloading containers**, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Plan and implement **efficient warehouse layouts**to maximize space utilization and streamline workflow.
- Ensure smooth flow of goods, minimizing congestion and optimizing storage capacity.

**2. Team Leadership & Hands-On Management**
- Supervise and work alongside warehouse staff, **leading by example**in daily operations.
- Train, guide, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to procedures.
- Promote a strong team culture where productivity and accountability are prioritized.

**3. Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy**
- Conduct **regular cycle counts, physical stock checks, and ERP/WMS reconciliations**.
- Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Work closely with procurement and sales teams to **manage stock levels effectively**.

**4. Health, Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce workplace safety and compliance with **WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) regulations**.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment with proper handling of FMCG products.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with **Singapore’s fire and safety regulations**.

**5. Logistics & Distribution Coordination**
- Work with transport teams to **ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries**.
- Manage container scheduling, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.
- Resolve any **delivery or operational bottlenecks**to maintain service efficiency.

**6. Process Improvement & Future Growth Potential**
- Identify and implement warehouse **workflow improvements**for increased efficiency.
- Utilize **warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools**for operational control.
- Prepare to take on a Warehouse Manager role by demonstrating **capability, leadership, and problem-solving skills**.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **3+years**of hands-on warehouse experience in **FMCG, wholesale, or distribution**sectors.
- Proven expertise in **warehouse layout planning and space optimization**.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to **motivate and manage teams**.
- **Hands-on experience in warehouse operations**, including stock control and container handling.
- Familiarity with **ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office**.
- Knowledge of **Singapore’s safety and compliance regulations**.
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
