**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods, maintaining safety protocols, managing staff, and improving operational processes. The role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and motivate warehouse teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and proper organization.
- Ensure safety compliance within the warehouse and implement best practices for a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, providing performance feedback and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Assist in managing warehouse logistics, including optimizing space, ensuring timely order dispatch, and improving operational efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- **Leadership Skills**:Strong team management and leadership abilities, with the capacity to train and motivate staff.
- **Problem-Solving**:Excellent problem-solving skills to address operational issues promptly and effectively.
- **Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)**:Proficient with WMS or inventory management software.
- **Physical Stamina & Safety Awareness**:Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety regulations and standards.
